Welcome to the UNIGLAS® heating cost calculator!
This calculator helps you quickly and easily estimate how much heating energy your home can save with the right glass surfaces. Simply complete the input fields step by step.
How the entries work:
- Service life of the glass: first enter the expected service life of the glazing. A guide value is around 30 years.
- Enter energy costs: then enter the current costs for heating oil (l in euros) and natural gas (m² in euros) in the fields provided.
- Specify window areas: record the size of your window areas. A distinction is made between:
- South to south-west-facing windows (SO – SW)
- North-west to north-east-facing windows (NW – NE)
- All other orientations
- Select old glazing: in the next step, select the glazing of your existing windows.
- Compare new glazing: use the drop-down menu to choose the UNIGLAS glazing you would like to compare.
Once you have entered all of the data, the calculator will display two values: your potential savings on heating oil and natural gas. If you wish, you can subsequently download and save the calculation as a PDF.
With just a few details, you therefore obtain a clear picture of your potential savings.
